Panic

Panic’s release of “Familiar Dreams” (1991) is a culmination of their myriad of influences, which surrounded them on their tours throughout the highly innovative eclecticism of the 1980s music scene. They were the opening act on tour for Billy Idol, The Romantics, Sheila E, The Producers, The Fixx, The Outfield and The Tubes. As headliners, they pulled record crowds in Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and the Jersey Shore.
The band features songwriters Todd Washburn (keyboards), David Simmons (percussion), Scott Landry (guitar), Gary Lyon (bass) and Michael Marquart (drums). This is the CD that best captures the essence of Panic’s emotional edge, sometimes surreal, fueled by the dynamic drum work and production expertise of Michael Marquart.
